Expansion & Spacing Requirements
Although SPC flooring has excellent stability, floating floors require spacing:

No expansion joint required for areas up to 12 meters (40 feet) without direct sunlight exposure.

Install expansion joints every 9–12 meters in larger or continuous areas.

Leave a minimum 10mm expansion gap around walls, columns, pipes, and fixed structures.

Separate flooring at doorways when installing in multiple rooms.
Always replicate existing subfloor expansion joints in the SPC flooring above.
